Vicente Cañas y Portocarrero
Vicente María Cañas y Portocarrero (1755 – 12 March 1824), also known in some biographies as Diego de Cañas y Portocarrero,〔 According to his file at Spain's Congreso de los Diputados () this is his correct name, despite the use of "Diego" in some biographies. Retrieved 31 August 2013.〕〔 ("Hace 200 años. Diario de las Cortes de Cádiz Crónica Parlamentaria Diaria" ) Retrieved 31 August 2013.〕 VII Duke del Parque, was a Lieutenant-General and a Spanish military leader during the Peninsular War. He commanded the Spanish forces at the battles of Tamames, El Carpio and Alba de Tormes.
